Calling all Timothy Leary fans: The psychedelic experience can now be yours (at least in terms of appearance) with the new Brooks Rock ’n’ Roll Launch 5. These tie-dye kicks–designed by Brooks Running Company as a limited edition Rock ’n’ Roll Marathon Series product–pay tribute to the era in music history that gave the race series its name. Available starting today at a modest $100 price point, these shoes are a little “out there” with their rainbow colorways–which, if you’ve ever participated in or spectated at a Rock ’n’ Roll event, you’ll recognize as being kind of perfect. The race series’ red guitar logo is stamped on each shoe’s heel, just beneath the “Rock ’n’ Roll” and “Marathon Series” labels on the sides. Featuring BioMoGo DNA cushioning in the midsole and light, single-piece layers of mesh as the uppers, these shoes were designed with energy return and breathability in mind.

The shoe launches today at the Rock ’n’ Roll Arizona expo and is available online now for those curious to learn more.
