Mountain biking is a good option

Cycling is one of the healthiest aerobic activities and, more importantly, it can be practiced by anyone. This is a sport in which is very easy to adapt the intensity to a high competitive level or to a level of pleasure strolling through the park. However, it is important that, if you're not used to exercising yourself, you increase your aerobic capacity progressively with a good workout routine. As you accumulate sessions with the bike you must also learn to ride properly.

Mountain biking  is one of the many different extreme sports that's gaining more followers as time goes by. 




This sport can be enjoyed as well with a group of friends, it can lead you all to do some ecotourism, rural tourism and seek for the greatest adventures. In this activity, its practitioners are able to travel long distances, with their bikes of course, along very difficult and dangerous terrains and at unimaginable speeds. The practice provides great physical and mental benefits because it’s a great exercise to strengthen the body, to improve the concentration and mind control, especially when it comes to acting appropriately in critical situations.

Mountain biking is divided into two categories: cross country and down the hill.
  • The cross country category: it refers to complete tour of ups and downs in any terrain, so it is necessary that the practitioner holds a magnificent physical condition. To make a tour like this one, bicycles must have brakes, front suspension, and lightweight frame. All these components must be of good quality and easy to handle to ensure driver safety.
  • The down of the hill category: It consists of going down a mountain bike as fast as possible, which makes it riskier and it leads to great falls. Those who practice this exciting activity must have the ability to evade every obstacle arising, take control of the bike, keep its balance, control the nerve, be well prepared for doing jumps and have the proper position for a very long descent
